What a glorious Friday! Drove around with the with the windows down all afternoon. Ready for summer! <3
I often say “I heart you” to my boyfriend rather than “I love you”. Silly, I know. But it’s cute ;) Today was our two year anniversary! While he was in extensive training for work this afternoon I snuck over to Fuzion Ink (Norfolk, VA) and had this inked in the ditch of my elbow. I love it!
Also…he’s an Apple nerd, so I thought the ‘i” was suiting and it’s done in Helvetica, the standard font Apple uses. Although spontaneous, it was a pretty well thought out tattoo. iHeart you, Alex!! ;) <3
Alright guys, you’re right: default IS Myriad but they do use Helvetica as well and when I printed it out on paper, Helvetica looked much better. Also to the asshole that thinks this is a “typo” … i<3U or i<3u doesn’t look very good does it? I thought it was pretty tacky. Getting just the i<3 left it open to interpretation…if you don’t appreciate a tattoo on here there’s no need to voice it…go to ugliesttattoos.com for that shit. Thank you. As for my new ink, well, iHeart it! Hah ;P
By the way… they really don’t use Helvetica.

As far as advertising goes, yes, Apple uses Myriad. With 1.5 spacing to be exact. As far as interface goes, Helvetica. Follow this link:

You’re on a Mac right? Go ahead and look at your toolbar at the top of the screen. Font? Helvetica. It’s also the font that Macs and iPhones default to when you open Pages, email, etc. Do your research before you open your fucking mouth. Every time you turn on your iPhone, iPod, iPad or Mac and see everything written in Helvetica I hope you feel like a fool for picking this fight with me.
As far as being an Apple snob…my boyfriend wouldn’t go out of his way to correct a stranger on Tumblr because he thinks he knows everything. Now stop trying to tear me apart on the internet. Let me have my moment on FYT and leave me the hell alone.
